What can I expect during and after the treatment
During the treatment, a series of injections will be made into the skin using a fine needle. ​The treatment is coupled with a cleanse and a light peel to hydrate and plump the skin. The procedure is generally well-tolerated, with most patients experiencing little to no discomfort. The entire treatment usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. You should not have NCTF® boost 135 HA if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and you should defer treatment if you have any active infections, skin disorders, immune disorders, or are taking blood thinning medication. Advise us if you are taking any medications, have allergies, or get cold sores. As with any injectable treatment, we recommend avoiding excessive alcohol consumption and high intensity exercise 24 hours prior to your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness, swelling, bruising or rarely you may notice tiny bumps due to the intense build-up of moisture underneath the skin. All these side effects are temporary and will settle after one to two days.
How long do results last?
Good results can be seen after one treatment, we do, however recommend a course of 3* treatments to ensure the longevity of results. Treatments are delivered at approx 2 weekly intervals. After a course of three, we estimate that results will last up to three months plus. Results will differ from person to person. Top up appointments can be made to maintain your results!
